The UNION ExiSAFE Push Pad Bolt is a high-performance emergency exit solution specifically engineered for single doors. This surface-mounted unit provides secure vertical bolting that is easily released via a push pad, ensuring safe egress in emergency situations. It is primarily used in commercial and public buildings where occupants are expected to be familiar with the exit hardware.

Constructed for security, the main body incorporates an anti-thrust mechanism. This feature is critical for preventing the top and bottom shoot bolts from being forced or levered out of their keeps from the external side of the door. The system is supplied with an automatic top trip and an easy-clean floor socket, which ensures the bolts remain retracted while the door is open and deploy correctly upon closing to maintain the building's security envelope.

Typical applications include secondary exits in offices, schools, and industrial units. The hardware is compatible with timber and metal door substrates, making it a versatile choice for both new installations and replacement of existing exit devices. Its reversible design allows for easy installation on either left or right-handed doors. The ExiSAFE range is CE marked and Certifire approved, having undergone rigorous durability testing to 200,000 cycles.
