When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

This is the 20mm-backset 1433 mortice sashlock, not an unspecified multipoint gearbox. Its latch is operated by the handle or cylinder key and the cylinder operates the deadbolt.

WILKA identifies the 20mm version separately from larger-backset 1433 locks, including a different latch-reversal method and an exception to its EN 12209 statement. The available supplier and manufacturer descriptions also differ on bolt throw. Use the supplied version's instructions and confirm its bolt travel rather than assuming the 15mm or tested-grade descriptions apply.

Match the case, forend, follower, fixings and keep. The galvanised, closed-top-and-bottom case is not a sealed or universally compatible lock.

FAQs

The 1433/20 latch is reversible, but WILKA specifies a separate screw-retained method for the 20mm version. Do not use the slider procedure for 1433 locks with a 25mm or larger backset; follow the instructions for the supplied case.

This mortice sashlock is specifically engineered for metal frame door applications. With a narrow 20mm backset, it is an ideal solution for slim-profile metal door frames where space for a lock case is limited.

The supplier lists a 20mm backset, 92mm centres and 24mm forend. Also compare the case outline, fixing positions and keep. Confirm actual bolt travel: WILKA's 20mm version is a stated exception, so the supplier's 15mm throw must not be assumed.

The deadbolt is operated by a standard Euro profile cylinder. For the latch, you have the flexibility of operating it via the door handle or by using the cylinder key.
