The Winkhaus AV2 Auto Locking Multipoint Lock is a high-security solution engineered specifically for timber doors. Its primary function is the automatic engagement of its two steel hooks; as soon as the door is closed, the hooks extend into the keeps without requiring the user to lift the handle. This ensures the door is always securely locked against forced entry and weather ingress.

Constructed with a 20mm radius faceplate, this lock is designed for seamless integration into timber joinery. The central gearbox house a standard latch and deadbolt, which are operated via a Euro profile cylinder. The mechanical design is focused on durability and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for residential entrance doors.

By adding a "screw-on" 12v motor, the unit can be converted into the blueMatic AV2-E system, allowing the door to be opened via intercoms, keypads, or other access control systems.
