When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Latch & Deadbolt

The Winkhaus AV2 replacement centre gearbox is supplied in 35mm, 45mm and 55mm backsets, each with left- and right-hand versions. It is a centre case for an existing compatible lock, not a complete multipoint strip.

In a correctly assembled AV2 system, closing the door triggers the remote hooks without lifting the handle. The central deadbolt is operated separately by the key or thumbturn; it does not automatically extend just because the door closes. With an outside lever, the key is needed to lock the door against outside handle operation.

Replacement fit: match the exact original lock, handing, backset, 92mm PZ centres, case routing, rod connections and riveted attachment. Backset and PZ alone do not prove interchangeability. The supplier identifies these as handed cases for 16mm faceplates with a non-reversible latch; compare the correct handing diagram before ordering.

Gearbox replacement and re-riveting should follow the correct procedure for the actual strip. The whole lock must operate freely with its matching frame keeps after installation. A replacement centre case does not independently provide an automatic lock, fire approval or doorset certification.
