The Winkhaus AV2-F 2070 M2 is an advanced automatic multipoint locking system designed to provide immediate security for timber doors. Unlike standard manual locks, the AV2 mechanism automatically deploys its two high-tensile steel hooks as soon as the door is closed, ensuring the door leaf is pulled tight against the frame without the need to lift a handle to engage the security points.

The radius faceplate is specifically engineered for timber applications, fitting seamlessly into standard routered preparations. The system utilizes a central latch and two hooks to provide robust physical security across the height of the door.

A key feature of the AV2 series is its upgrade path to electronic operation. The lock body is designed to accept a screw-on 12V electronic motor, transforming it into the blueMatic AV2-E system. This allows for seamless integration with various access control methods, such as intercoms, finger scanners, or keypads, making it a versatile choice for modern residential and commercial properties.
