The Winkhaus AV4-F2070 is an advanced automatic multi-point locking system designed for high-security door applications. Unlike traditional locks that require a handle to be lifted, the AV4 engages its locking points automatically as soon as the door is closed. This is achieved through a central magnetic trigger that activates two solid anti-push back hooks, providing immediate security without user intervention.

This specific model is a 'latch only' version, meaning it does not feature a traditional deadbolt on the centre case, relying instead on the automatic hook engagement. The system is non-handed, making it a versatile choice for both left and right-opening doors. It is designed for use with Euro profile cylinders and standard 92mm centres, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of door furniture.

For smart home or commercial integration, the AV4-F2070 can be upgraded to a motorised system. By installing a blueMatic EAV4 or EAV4+ motor, the lock can be integrated with potential-free access control systems, allowing for remote unlocking while maintaining high physical security. The unit is tested to PAS 24 standards and is approved by the Secured by Design initiative, making it suitable for both new installations and as a high-performance replacement part.
