The Winkhaus Cobra is a high-security multipoint lock mechanism designed for UPVC door systems. This lever-operated system features a central gearbox containing both a latch and deadbolt, supplemented by four downward-facing hooks distributed along the length of the faceplate. This multi-point configuration provides significant resistance against forced entry and ensures a consistent weather-tight seal across the height of the door.

Typically utilised as a replacement for existing Winkhaus Cobra units or as a primary lock in new door installations, the mechanism is engineered for high-frequency use. It has undergone performance testing to 100,000 cycles to ensure mechanical longevity. The 16mm flat faceplate and 92mm centres make it compatible with a broad range of standard door profiles and industry-standard hardware.

This lock is designed for single spindle operation, making it compatible with standard lever-lever handle sets. As a Secured by Design accredited product, it meets the rigorous security specifications required for modern residential and commercial applications.
