These are complete mechanical Cobra three-hook locks with an EntryGuard restrictor. The three hook positions, guard pocket, centre case and frame parts must match the selected reference. The restrictor's partly open state is separate from closed-door multipoint locking.

FAQs

EntryGuard restricts the door opening so the occupant can view a caller. A partly opened restrictor state is not the same as the closed door being secured by the multipoint hooks and deadbolt. The exact release procedure remains part-specific.

The selected source rows identify three hooks plus a central latch and deadbolt. The latch should not be counted as a separate certified deadlocking point, and this M3 configuration must not be replaced by two-hook EntryGuard specifications.

Both references have a supplier-listed 16mm flat faceplate with square forends and 92mm PZ, in 35mm or 45mm backsets. All three hook positions, guard pocket and frame parts must match; a 16mm groove alone does not establish compatibility.

Any required security or durability rating must be supported by the documentation for the specified complete doorset and exact lock version. A generic Cobra or EntryGuard range figure is not certification of an arbitrary replacement installation.
