The Winkhaus Cobra Keywind is a high-security multipoint locking system engineered for external doors. Unlike traditional lever-operated mechanisms, this keywind variant activates the locking points—including the central deadbolt and the four hooks—through the rotation of the key within the profile cylinder. This makes it an ideal choice for doors where a fixed pull handle is used on the exterior.

This system features a central gearbox with a latch and deadbolt, complemented by four substantial hooks that provide multiple engagement points within the door frame. These hooks help to prevent the door from being forced or levered open, significantly increasing the overall security of the entrance.
