The Winkhaus Cobra is a high-performance lever-operated multipoint locking system designed for use on external doors. This specific configuration features two hooks and two rollers, providing a combination of mechanical security and weather protection. The hooks engage with the door frame to prevent jimmying or forced separation, while the rollers ensure the door stays tightly sealed against the gaskets to prevent draughts.

Equipped with a split spindle gearbox (also known as a dual follower), this lock offers a night latch function. When used with compatible door handles, the external lever will not retract the latch without a key, enhancing security for residential applications. It is a common choice for both new installations and as a replacement unit in existing UPVC or composite door systems.

As part of the Cobra range, this unit is engineered for durability and has been performance tested to 100,000 cycles. It is Secured by Design certified, making it suitable for applications where enhanced security is a primary requirement. The lock is compatible with standard 92mm centres and is designed for use with Euro profile cylinders.
