The Winkhaus Cobra Multipoint Lock is a high-performance security solution designed for external door sets. Featuring a robust central gearbox with a latch and deadbolt, this system is further strengthened by four hook bolts. These hooks are engineered to pull the door tightly into the frame, ensuring a secure seal against both intruders and the elements.

This particular variant incorporates a split spindle mechanism. When paired with appropriate offset or lever/pad handles, it provides a night-latch function, preventing external entry even when the door is not fully locked unless a key is used. This makes it a preferred choice for residential entrance doors where controlled access is a priority.

Designed as a versatile component for both new installations and like-for-like replacements, the lock features a standard 16mm faceplate. It is compatible with Euro-profile cylinders and is frequently used in uPVC and composite door manufacturing. To maintain performance, it is recommended that the locking points and gearbox are periodically lubricated with a light machine oil.
