When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Winkhaus Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Gearbox is a professional-grade replacement unit designed for repairing or refurbishing existing multi-point door systems. By replacing just the centre gearbox rather than the entire locking strip, locksmiths and maintenance professionals can achieve a cost-effective repair without compromising on security.
This gearbox features standard 92mm centres and is available in multiple backset sizes including 35mm, 45mm, and 55mm. The unit is easily identifiable as a genuine Winkhaus product by its signature rivet-fixed construction, which provides a robust and tamper-resistant housing.
Handing: The latch is fully reversible. To change the handing, simply place a screwdriver in the rear of the case directly behind the latch, push it forward, and rotate it to the desired side.
Operation: This is a lever-operated lock (Method A). Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points and then perform one full turn of the cylinder to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full revolution and then push down on the handle.
This replacement unit features standard 92mm PZ centres and is available in 35mm, 45mm, and 55mm backsets. To ensure a correct fit, measure the distance from the centre of the keyhole to the front edge of your current lock case.
Yes, the latch is fully reversible for both left and right-handed doors. To change the handing, simply place a screwdriver in the rear of the case directly behind the latch, push it forward, and rotate it to the desired side.
This is a lever-operated mechanism (Method A). To lock the door, lift the handle upwards to engage the multi-point locking points and then perform one full turn of the cylinder. To unlock, turn the key one full revolution and push down on the handle.
The split spindle design allows the internal and external handles to operate independently. This configuration provides versatile security options, often used to ensure that a key is required to open the door from the outside even when it is not deadlocked.
