A handed Winkhaus STV-FGTE slave lock for the second-opening leaf of a double-door set, with 45mm backset, 92mm centres and a 20mm faceplate.

The slave unit receives the master lock's bolts and operates separate top and bottom shootbolts. Match the handed lock, meeting-stile arrangement and required shootbolt lengths to the door design.

The master lock and shootbolt components are separate selections. The configured FGTE system must be checked against the manufacturer's layout and parts schedule.

Replacement fit: match the exact supplied reference and generation, handing, backset, follower/spindle arrangement, faceplate profile, case routing, fixing holes, locking-point positions and frame keeps. PZ centres alone do not establish furniture or replacement fit. Follow the applicable fitting limits rather than trimming a strip simply because it is too long.

The stored manufacturer document is a range/system guide. Match its applicable configuration to the supplied reference; it is not an exact drawing or certificate for every older part number.

No, the Winkhaus STV-FGTE is specifically designed for the slave leaf (the secondary opening door) of a double door set. It is engineered to provide a secure locking point for the door that remains closed while the primary door is in use.

Check the 45mm backset, 92mm centres, 20mm faceplate and handed slave reference, together with the meeting-stile geometry, latch-extension version, furniture and shootbolt selection.

The FGTE slave system requires separate top and bottom shootbolts. Their lengths and extensions depend on the actual handle and rebate heights; the lock alone is not a complete double-door installation.

Security and fire performance must refer to the documented complete doorset and approved hardware combination. A general range statement is not a certificate for every replacement installation.
