When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

The Yale Doormaster YDM-GB-KIT brings replacement centre cases together in a carry case for repair work.

Confirm the itemised contents supplied with the kit, including gearbox references, any overnight lock and keep, and tools. Do not plan a repair from a photograph or assume that every currently offered Doormaster case is included.

Each gearbox must match the particular donor lock's case, backset, follower arrangement, fixing points and drive connections. The kit does not make different generations interchangeable.

If an overnight lock is included, its door preparation, keep and operating arrangement must also be matched. Temporary equipment is not a guarantee of immediate security for every door.

FAQs

Confirm the supplied kit's itemised parts list before ordering for a particular repair. Doormaster cases are made for different donor families; the kit name does not guarantee that a specific GU, Lockmaster, Mila, G2000 or YS170 case is included in the supplied revision.

An overnight lock is intended as a temporary repair measure, if included. Confirm the exact supplied lock and keep and their suitability for the door. Do not assume it restores full multipoint security or fits every door preparation.

Check the supplied case layout and spare capacity before adding components. Additional storage is not confirmation that another gearbox belongs in the kit or is compatible with any donor lock.

The Doormaster range includes different follower arrangements. Confirm which exact cases are supplied and match each to its donor and furniture; a kit containing more than one arrangement does not provide a spindle-conversion approval.
