The Yale Doormaster YDM-GB-GU-D35T is a lever-operated latch and deadbolt replacement gearbox, listed at 35mm backset and 92mm PZ centres for the applicable GU through-follower arrangement.

This is Yale Doormaster reference YDM-GB-GU-D35T: the 35mm backset, 92mm PZ replacement case listed for the applicable GU through-follower arrangement. It is not a universal replacement for every old GU strip. Compare the original follower, case outline, fixing holes, latch/deadbolt positions and strip drive connections as well as the backset and PZ centres.

The supplied case is described with a reversible latch. Follow the applicable gearbox handing procedure and check the existing strip and keeps. Do not assume that removing or dismantling the faceplate is the correct reversal method for every case revision.

The existing full-length strip and remote locking points must remain serviceable for a gearbox-only repair. Match the replacement to the actual donor mechanism before dismantling; a similarly named GU case can have different connections or follower operation.

This is a lever-operated gearbox. To engage the multipoint locking hooks or bolts on your door, simply lift the handle upwards. You then turn the key in the Euro profile cylinder to throw the deadbolt and lock the mechanism in place.
