When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Latch & Deadbolt

This is the square-ended AutoEngage Classic family, with non-SM YAS1-3501-27 and YAS1-4501-27 references. Its faceplate and selected backset must match the door's complete lock preparation.

Door closure engages the security latches; it is not proof that the separate centre deadbolt is locked. Follow the operating instructions for the original lock and furniture. Replacement alone does not correct a bowed door, poor keep alignment or worn seals.

The security latches engage when the door closes. Operate the separate centre deadbolt as directed by the lock instructions; automatic latch engagement is not a guarantee that every locking function has been completed.

Timber and composite applications are listed, but the exact mechanism and route must agree. Compare case, selected backset, faceplate ends, locking-point locations, furniture and keeps.

Check the original handing instructions and the complete door hardware. Reversible latches do not remove the need to select the correct handed centre keep or compatible furniture.

A lock is one component of the tested door assembly. Match the specified mechanism and hardware to the doorset evidence; do not assume this replacement alone gives the door a PAS 24 rating.
