The Yale Lockmaster AutoEngage Heritage is a multi-point locking system specifically engineered for timber and composite doors. It features an automatic engagement mechanism where security latches are instantly triggered upon closing the door. This design removes the traditional requirement to lift the handle to engage the locking points, making it an ideal solution for users with limited dexterity or for heritage-style doors utilizing fixed pull handles.

The system includes a central gearbox with a deadbolt and multiple latch bolt points along the faceplate. This configuration provides robust security and ensures a consistent weather seal by pulling the door tight against the frame at several points. The key retract functionality allows the latch to be withdrawn using the cylinder, supporting the use of decorative fixed furniture such as pull bars or traditional knobs.

Commonly used in both new installations and as a high-security replacement for existing systems, this lock is tested to PAS 24 standards and BS EN 1670 Grade 4 for corrosion resistance. The unit is fully reversible, allowing for versatile installation on either left or right-handed doors.
