The Yale YS170 is a high-performance multipoint locking system engineered specifically for timber and composite doors. It features a central gearbox with a Euro profile latch and hookbolt, providing a secure primary locking point. To enhance security, the system includes two additional reverse-action hookbolts which act as an effective anti-lift mechanism, preventing the door from being forced vertically out of its frame.

This lock is suitable for both new installations and as a replacement for existing systems. The split spindle functionality offers flexibility in handle operation, making it compatible with various lever configurations. An integrated snib function adds further utility, allowing users to hold the latch back or deadlock it for increased security.
