AMF Gate Lock 49Z Double Throw Zinc Plated Rim Deadcase

The AMF Gate Lock 49Z is a robust rim deadcase designed specifically for external gate applications. Constructed with heavy-duty zinc plating and passivation, this lock is engineered to resist corrosion and withstand exposure to the elements in outdoor environments.

Functionally, the unit features a 25mm double throw bolt, offering a high level of security by extending deeper into the strike plate than standard single throw locks. The non-handed mechanism ensures versatility, allowing it to be fitted to either left-hand or right-hand opening gates without modification.

This lock is intended for use with a Euro profile cylinder, which allows for integration into existing master key systems or the use of specific security cylinders as required. It is commonly used as a primary locking point on metal or wooden gates where a surface-mounted deadcase is preferred over a mortice installation.

Each unit is supplied as a deadcase including the necessary components for a standard installation: a strike plate, a single escutcheon, and fixing screws. Please note that the Euro cylinder must be purchased separately to complete the locking system.
