This padlock is keyed to differ under a master key system (Reference BB). Each individual lock operates with its own unique keys but is also designed to be opened by a single master key, which is useful for management oversight in schools, offices, or gyms.

Yes, this padlock features a hardened steel shackle to provide resistance against cutting and sawing. It also utilizes a double locking mechanism for added security against prying or pulling.

The padlock has a shackle diameter of 6mm. To ensure it fits your application, note that the internal shackle clearance is 22mm horizontally and 23mm vertically.

Each Asec 40mm brass padlock is supplied with 2 individual keys. Please note that the master key (Ref BB) used to open multiple locks in the system is not included and must be purchased separately.
