BARS Pro Series code lock is a Smart unit which has been designed to work with the standard 60mm backset tubular latch.

  • Can be a Stand Alone ( no App required) unit for single doors or operated as part of a system from the APP
  • APP is free of charge to download ( only requires payment if you want to send SMS messages directly from the APP.... not required to use normally)
  • Electronic lock that works off 4 x AA Batteries for extended use ( batteries supplied)
  • Suitable for Internal use and sheltered external doors. Not BS approved so must be used with a BS3621 rated lock to meet insurance requirements.
  • Perfect for office and rental properties. Remote code access, timed codes can be deleted and set up remotely. Codes are 7 digits long ( not alternative code lengths)

When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

The pro series code lock has a mulitude of features to make this unit suitable for 1 off uses or for larger B&B or hotel doors Below is a list of the ways you can operate the BARS Pro Series digital lock.

Easiest Way to set up = Stand Alone unit

  • Stand Alone unit, does not require APP set up, Codes and fingerprints can be set up at the unit.
  • Everything is controlled from the keypad.

Remote Access is set up from the APP.

  • If you would like to use the unit remotely you can download the free of charge APP.
  • Must use a 2.4GHZ internet connection ( most routers have this)
  • Notifications are sent directly to your phone to alert you of entry ( if set up)
  • Access can be granted by 1 off codes ( work for 5 mins), or you can set up timed codes for extended periods, 1 hour to 1 year...
  • Codes are 7 digits long.

Otherways to Access Unit

Finger print Scanner - The unit comes complete with a finger print scanner that can store up to 200 different finger prints. These are set up at the unit.

Keypad Code = You can enter a code to the lock to open it. The unit can store over 100 x different codes.

Key override = Each unit comes with a 2 x keys as an override. These are a fail safe incase the battery runs out or something happens to the unit.

No, the lock can function as a standalone unit. You can set up and manage fingerprints and keypad codes directly on the unit itself. However, using the free app with a 2.4GHz internet connection allows for remote management, entry notifications, and the creation of timed or one-off access codes.

The BARS Pro Series is designed for wooden doors and is suitable for internal use or sheltered external locations. Because it is not BS approved, it must be used in conjunction with a BS3621 rated lock on external doors to meet most insurance requirements.

The unit is powered by 4 x AA batteries, which are included with the product. In the event that the batteries run out, the included physical override keys provide a manual backup to ensure you can always gain entry to the property.
