The Codelocks 425 is a medium-duty mechanical digital lock designed for controlled access in medium-traffic environments. It incorporates a full-size lever handle and a Euro profile mortice sash lock, providing a robust security solution for internal and external door applications.

Operationally, the external lever handle remains locked until a valid 4 to 6-digit code is entered. For enhanced security, the unit includes a key-operated deadbolt; when projected, this deadbolt denies access via the keypad, allowing for high-security periods. The internal side of the lock is engineered with an anti-panic safety feature, ensuring that the inside lever handle always retracts both the latch and the deadbolt simultaneously for a safe, swift exit.

This mechanical lock is highly versatile, featuring a reversible design that accommodates both left and right-hand door openings. It also includes a code-free passage mode, which can be engaged when unrestricted access is required, such as during peak business hours. To protect the internal components, a clutch mechanism is integrated into the external lever to prevent damage if the handle is forced without a correct code.
