The PJB Garage Door Defender is a heavy-duty security solution designed to provide a physical barrier against the unauthorised opening of up-and-over garage doors. It functions using a two-part system: a permanent ground plate that is bolted into a solid concrete floor and a removable T-shaped restrictor bar that slots over the plate's pillar.

Typical applications include residential garages and lock-ups where the standard integral lock may be vulnerable to forced entry. By anchoring the door from the outside, it prevents the door from being pulled or pried open. The design is specifically engineered so that the securing padlock is shielded from attack by the body of the T-bar, making it difficult for intruders to use saws or bolt croppers on the locking mechanism.

This unit is intended for installation on solid concrete only and is supplied with all necessary rawlbolt fixings. It is used as a primary or secondary security measure to enhance the protection of vehicles, tools, and stored goods. Please note: A high-security shutter padlock is required to secure the device but is not included as standard.

This security system uses a two-part design. A rectangular ground plate is permanently fixed into your solid concrete floor. When you want to secure your garage, you slot the large 'T' shaped restrictor over the base pillar and lock it in place with a shutter-style padlock.

The PJB Garage Door Defender is designed for installation on solid concrete floor areas only. It comes supplied with rawlbolt-type fixings to ensure a secure, permanent anchor point for the base plate.

A padlock is not included with this kit. It is designed to be used with a heavy-duty shutter lock, such as the ABUS 82-90. When fitted, the padlock is concealed within the unit to protect it from being tampered with or cut.

When fully assembled and fitted, the unit stands 145mm high and has an overall width of 260mm. The permanent ground plate measures 215mm x 80mm.
