The ABUS 83WP/53 is the smallest in the ‘Extreme’ range of ABUS padlocks. The Extreme range are designed for external use where you get the most extreme weather conditions and physical ABUSe.

The protective plastic covering will keep out and protect the shackle and keyway from dirt and grit and there is even a protective cap to cover the keyhole to make sure nothing gets in.

The NanoProtect shackle has the best protection against physical attack whilst also protecting from corrosion so you can leave these padlocks out in the rain and snow and know that they will withstand the elements better than any other brand.
The 83WP/53 is available keyed alike or masterkeyed to any other padlock in the ABUS 83 series.

Perfect for gates and fences to prevent the padlock from falling to the ground or being stolen.

Attaches using a D shackle to connect the chain to the gate or fence.

Chain Attachment Ring fits onto the non opening side of the shackle of the padlock and prevents the chain from being removed from the padlock. The link is too tight to pass over the U shape of the shackle.


This is only suitable for padlocks that can be unassembled so NOT suitable for Closed shackle padlock, Combination padlocks or standard pre-built padlocks.

Perfect for high security padlock ranges with an open shackle.

Supplied with 0.5 meter length of 8mm link galvanised chain, Longer chain lengths available upon request.
