Weather Resistant

A warning you can see and hear. Designed for the outside.

StreetSiren combines a strong audible alarm with a surrounding LED frame. The weather-protected enclosure brings a visible alarm presence to an entrance or exterior wall, without requiring a cable back to the hub.

Ready for an exposed position.

An IP54 enclosure and operating range from -25 to +60 C suit outdoor use when installed as specified. Plan the fixing surface and position carefully rather than relying on the enclosure rating alone.

Battery powered. Or wired for power.

Four supplied CR123A batteries provide up to five years of operation. A suitable nominal 12 V DC supply is optional. The siren still communicates with the hub over Jeweller, whether it uses batteries or external power.

Wire-free flexibility and reliable performance

An unmistakable alarm.

Alarm volume is adjustable from 85 to 113 dB at one metre. The LED frame adds a visible warning, with configured entry/exit, armed-state and after-alarm indications for everyday use.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

You need a compatible Ajax hub, appropriate alarm detectors and a secure mounting location. Battery operation needs no mains or network cable at the siren. If using external power, route and protect the DC cable and use a supply meeting the current manual; mains work belongs with a competent installer. Check radio reception and configure/test the alarm response before completion. Choose a position that is visible but difficult to reach, and arrange safe access for fitting and later battery maintenance.

Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two mobile SIM slots give the hub alternative routes to Ajax Cloud. Configure more than one route for resilience. Mobile connectivity needs compatible SIMs, coverage and an active service; switching between SIMs can take up to four minutes.

A compatible MotionCam detector can send a sequence of photographs with an alarm, helping you understand what happened before deciding how to respond. Photo-on-demand and scenario features depend on the detector and permissions. Continuous camera recordings need their own storage, not the hub.

Up to 25 security groups let different areas follow different routines. The hub supports up to 200 devices and 200 users, while up to 64 scenarios can connect events to compatible lights, relays or other automation devices. Each accessory and its installation is separate.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Provide a suitable mains socket and an internet connection through Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Run an Ethernet cable to the router if using the wired route; detector cabling is not required for compatible Jeweller devices. Fit and configure any SIMs, mount the hub on SmartBracket, then add and test each detector and siren. Check radio coverage before fixing devices permanently. A qualified alarm installer should design the coverage, set delays and test the complete system. Monitoring and mobile subscriptions are separate services.
