If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Several ways to get the message through.

Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two mobile SIM slots give Hub 2 Plus alternative routes to Ajax Cloud. Configure more than one route so the system can keep you informed when a connection is interrupted.

Mobile backup needs compatible SIMs, coverage and an active service. Switching between SIMs can take up to four minutes.

Hub 2 Plus is our main choice for a home: Ethernet, Wi-Fi and mobile backup in one hub. Hub 2 (4G) is a smaller-capacity alternative without Wi-Fi. Hub BP is the specialist battery-powered option for sites without a suitable mains supply. These are alternatives, not three hubs needed together.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Provide a suitable mains socket and connect the hub through Ethernet, Wi-Fi or configured mobile service. Add and test each detector, keypad and siren in the Ajax app. Jeweller devices communicate wirelessly, so they do not need detector cabling back to the hub.

Plan coverage, mounting, entry delays and radio reception before final fixing. Fit and configure any SIMs for mobile backup, then test the complete alarm response.

Detectors, sirens, installation and optional mobile or monitoring services are separate. The hub coordinates alarm devices; continuous video recording uses separate camera storage.

FAQs

No. The hub manages the alarm system and compatible automation. Cameras need their own recording provision, such as an Ajax NVR with a suitable drive or a supported cloud plan.

Compatible Jeweller alarm devices communicate wirelessly with the hub. The hub itself needs mains power and configured internet connectivity.

Ethernet or Wi-Fi can provide the normal cloud connection. Active SIMs add alternative mobile routes where there is suitable network coverage.

The built-in battery provides temporary backup. Ajax specifies up to 15 hours with Ethernet disconnected and communication via SIM only; actual runtime depends on conditions. A router may need its own backup.

Hub 2 Plus supports alarm reporting to compatible monitoring stations. Monitoring is a separately arranged service, not included with the hub.

OS Malevich updates bring supported improvements to the hub. Configuration lives in the Ajax apps, so routine changes do not require opening the enclosure.

Tamper detection, device authentication and connection supervision report problems as well as alarms. The built-in battery provides temporary backup when mains power is lost.

SmartBracket gives the hub a fixed mounting point. Locate it indoors where the radio signal, network connection and mobile reception are all suitable.
