Understand what the deadbolt does to code access

On the supplied mortice-lock arrangement, the outside code handle operates the latch but does not retract the projected deadbolt. The specified inside-handle assembly retracts both bolts for exit. This is the important functional difference from the CL610/615 tubular-latch route.

Fitting and setup

  • Measure the door thickness, backset and existing fixing positions against the exact model drawing.
  • Set the new code and test the outside control, inside operation and latch engagement with the door open before closing it.
