The Asec Lever Action Flush Bolt is a functional security component designed to be morticed into the edge of a door. This recessed fitting ensures the hardware sits flush with the timber surface, preventing any obstruction to the closing action of the primary door leaf.

This type of bolt is typically used to secure the secondary (slave) leaf of a pair of double doors or French doors. By installing bolts at the top and bottom of the door, the inactive leaf is held firmly against the frame or floor, providing a stable base for the primary door to lock into. The integrated lever mechanism allows for easy manual operation, extending or retracting the internal shoot bolt with a simple flick.
