A compact rim installation, not a tubular-latch set

The 917 puts the latch assembly on the inside face of the door. Check the exact door-thickness version and strike position when replacing an older unit. It shares the 900-series code-access approach, but should not be treated as interchangeable with every 919 or key-bypass 938 package.

Fitting and setup

  • Set the new code and test the outside control, inside operation and latch engagement with the door open before closing it.
