Lever furniture with both access functions

L1041 combines shared-code entry, key bypass and passage mode. That makes it useful where a keyholder needs independent entry and the room also needs periods of free access. Match the handing and supplied cylinder arrangement to the existing installation.

FAQs

The key bypass allows authorized users to gain entry using a physical key instead of the pushbutton code. This is particularly useful for emergency access or for facility managers who require a master key override for multiple units.

Passage Set mode enables the lock to remain in an unlocked state, allowing free entry without entering a code. This feature is ideal for high-traffic areas during business hours or when restricted access is temporarily unnecessary.

No, the Kaba L1041B is a mechanical digital lock. It operates entirely on a mechanical pushbutton system, eliminating the need for batteries, electrical wiring, or external power connections.

Yes, the combination can be changed as often as required. The code is programmed directly through the keypad, allowing you to update security permissions quickly without the need to remove the lock from the door.
