When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.
If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.
Each group of locks will then receive keys.
The Union 1332 Cylinder Drawback Lock is a surface-mounted rim night latch designed to provide double security for timber doors. It features a unique combination of a standard latchbolt and a robust deadbolt, making it an ideal choice for residential and light commercial applications.
Functionality
The latchbolt is operated from the outside by a cylinder key and from the inside by a pull handle. For added security, the deadbolt is locked or unlocked by key from either side. A key feature of this lock is the double-throw action; one full turn of the key operates the first throw, while a second full turn fully extends the deadbolt for maximum engagement. The internal handle also includes a hold-back function, activated by an anti-clockwise turn to keep the latch retracted.
Application and Compatibility
This lock is particularly suitable for glass panel doors. Because the deadbolt requires a key to operate from the inside, it prevents intruders from reaching through broken glass to unlock the door. It is designed for timber doors ranging from 35mm to 60mm in thickness and is compatible with standard 60mm backset preparations, making it a versatile option for both new installs and the replacement of existing rim locks.

No unfortunately not, the BS3621 nightlatches can not be reversed. The only way to do this is to install a standard nightlatch from our outward opening nightlatch section and then also install a BS3621 deadlock. This deadlock will give you the insurance rating required.
You need to make sure the lock you fit is NON deadlocking. This means that you can not lock people into the property. There are a few nightlatches designed for these doors. The best is the Yale PBS3 or PBS4 or a more standard model would be the Yale 88 or 84.
The best locks for these would be the a rollerbolt style lock with a masterkeyed cylinder. I would not recommend installing a standard Nightlatch on these doors as the tenants can lock themselves out if they close the door behind them. We can supply these locks for you on a masterkey if you require or keyed differ if you would prefer.
The backset on these locks is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the Rim Cylinder. This is the large 32mm hole drilled through the door. There are 2 main sizes of these, 60mm or 40mm. Easiest way to find out what you have is to measure from outside of the door from the edge to the center of the keyhole. If you have a solid door you should use the 60mm backset locks, if you have a glass panelled door then you may need to use the 40mm backset. If your current lock is 50mm backset you will need to see our Union locks as only Union made a 50mm backset lock in the past.
There are different levels of security you can have with all locks. The standard locks (i.e. Yale 77, Yale 88) , then the mid level locks which can be key deadlocked from outside ( Yale 89, Union nightlatches). The double locking versions are only suitable for homes with other means of exit as you can lock people inside the house if not careful.
All the extra keys for the locks are cut to the specific locks that have been ordered.
With most locks that are altered to make them keyed alike you will only get 1 x set of keys with them. So if the locks normally come with 2 you will only get 2 keys total and if they come with 3 keys you will only get 3 x keys total when ordered keyed alike.
The deadbolt can be locked or unlocked using a key from either side of the door. For maximum security, the mechanism requires two full clockwise turns of the key: the first turn operates the first throw, and the second turn double throws the bolt into the locked position.
Yes, the Union 1332 is particularly well-suited for doors with glass panels. Because the deadbolt is key-operated from both sides, it provides an additional layer of security by preventing the door from being unlocked from the inside if a glass panel is broken.
Yes, this lock features a hold-back function. You can hold the latchbolt in the retracted position by turning the internal handle anti-clockwise while the bolt is withdrawn, allowing you to enter and exit without the door locking automatically.
This lock is compatible with doors between 35mm and 60mm in thickness. It features a standard 60mm backset, which is the measurement from the edge of the door to the center of the cylinder keyhole.
