A cleaner camera installation. Down to the mount.

MountCam moves a compatible camera away from the wall and keeps its cable route tidy. Short- and long-arm versions support different clearances.

A cleaner camera installation. Down to the mount.

MountCam moves a compatible camera away from the wall and keeps its cable route tidy. Short- and long-arm versions support different clearances.

Clearance that suits the location.

A models use a shorter arm; B models provide more reach. Check the available clearance and fixing surface alongside the camera dimensions.

Keep the cable path organised.

Cable-routing latches and pre-drilled fixing points help the installer make a neat connection. The mount is an installation accessory, not a power supply or recorder.

Match the mount to the camera.

A1 and B1 suit the original fixed-lens BulletCam, TurretCam and DomeCam Mini, plus their HL versions. A2 and B2 add an adapter for TurretCam HLVF and DomeCam HLVF. BulletCam HLVF is not compatible with MountCam.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Before installation

The correct MountCam version for the exact camera model. A1/A2 and B1/B2 are not interchangeable across every camera; confirm the manufacturer compatibility table before ordering.
Fixings suited to the wall and the combined mount/camera weight, plus a planned cable route and any connection box or adapter specified for that combination.

Fitting and setup

Check the intended view and clearance first. Fix the mount securely, route and protect the camera connections, then fit the compatible camera and adjust its view. Follow the mounting sequence and sealing instructions for the exact combination.

MountCam is a mounting accessory. It does not provide network connectivity, PoE power or recording storage.

FAQs

Not generally. Mounting patterns, cable entries and enclosure dimensions vary. Use the accessory's stated compatible models rather than assuming a universal fit.

No. A junction box provides a mounting and cable-management arrangement. Camera power must be provided separately using equipment that meets the camera specification.

No. Voltage, current capacity, polarity and connector type must all match the device. A recorder-specific supply is not automatically suitable for cameras or other equipment.

A is the shorter-arm mount; B provides a longer arm. Compare the current dimension drawings with the intended installation.

A2 and B2 include the adapter needed for TurretCam HLVF and DomeCam HLVF. A1 and B1 cover the compatible fixed-lens camera families.

No. Ajax excludes BulletCam HLVF from MountCam compatibility. Check its own mounting instructions instead.
