Separate the override and passage decisions

1041 combines key-bypass and passage functions. Key bypass is an alternative way for an authorised keyholder to enter; passage allows access without entering the shared code. Compare 1021 or 1031 if only one of those functions is required.

Fitting and setup

  • Measure the door thickness, backset and existing fixing positions against the exact model drawing.
  • Set the new code and test the outside control, inside operation and latch engagement with the door open before closing it.
