DualCurtain Outdoor places narrow detection zones on both sides of one device. It can protect along a wall or line of windows without looking across the entire garden.

When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

Each group of locks will then receive keys.

Ajax Baseline

Watch both directions. Protect a longer facade.

One detector. Two directions along the facade.

Two optical systems face opposite ways, each with two PIR sensors. The narrow zones can protect doors and windows along a building while leaving the space farther inside the perimeter outside those zones. This is a curtain detector, not an all-round motion sensor or a camera.

Two detectors in one

Adjust each side to its own boundary.

Set each side independently from 4 to 15 m to suit the facade, fence or passage. One side can be shorter than the other, or disabled if not needed. The beam-direction adjustment helps align the zone around fixed obstructions; walk-test the actual protected route rather than relying on the maximum range.

Check the area close to the detector.

Near Area Detection adds a downward-looking sector to reduce the close blind area. It also reduces pet immunity near the detector, so it is intended for openings and approaches that animals cannot access. Enable this mode only where its coverage and pet-immunity conditions suit the location.

Part of a complete alarm. Connect the detection to a response.

A compatible hub is required; Hub 2 Plus is our main residential choice. A keypad adds local control and a siren adds an audible warning. These are separate system components, not alternative detectors.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Mount on a firm outdoor surface with a clear path along both protected lines. Adjust and walk-test the two sides independently, including areas close to the detector. Pair with a compatible Ajax hub and test radio coverage before permanent fixing.

No. This is an Ajax alarm-system detector and needs a compatible hub. Sirens and any monitoring service are separate parts of the installation.

No signal cable is required for the wireless Jeweller connection. Battery and any optional external-device wiring must follow the exact model manual. Test radio coverage before permanent fixing.
