When ordering multiple Keyed Alike locks, only 1 set of keys are provided as all additional locks are made to work from that key.

If ordering 4 or more keyed alike locks you can have them set up as different groups. If Required: Let us know the details in the "Specific Key Requirements" field above.

The 4 MP HDR camera helps balance bright windows and darker rooms. Two-way audio with echo cancellation lets you speak through the camera, while infrared illumination provides a view after dark. The camera uses the supplied mains adapter, not a rechargeable battery.

Attention where it is useful.

PIR motion detection works alongside on-device recognition of people, pets and vehicles. Define detection areas and filter the event list to reduce irrelevant activity. Separate privacy masks hide sensitive parts of the picture instead of merely ignoring their movement.

A backup route for important events.

Wi-Fi carries the video stream. With a compatible Ajax hub, Jeweller can provide a backup route for events and alarms if Wi-Fi is lost. Photo delivery over Wings also requires an active Ajax Cloud Storage subscription. This fallback is not a replacement connection for live video.

For recorded video, use compatible Ajax NVR storage or an Ajax Cloud Storage subscription. An alarm hub coordinates security devices; it is not a video recorder.

Position it around the room.

A flexible mount supports placement on a shelf, wall or ceiling. Frame the area that matters without making the camera dominate the room, and allow for a nearby socket and reliable network coverage. Recording needs a compatible Ajax NVR or an Ajax Cloud Storage subscription; there is no microSD recording slot.

Control who can view, listen to, save or manage video through the Ajax apps. Passwordless camera authentication avoids a shared factory-default camera password, while two-factor authentication and session management help protect account access. Supported exports carry a digital signature that Ajax Media Player can check for modification.

IndoorCam needs no recorder for live viewing and two-way conversation. Add one of these NVRs for a local video archive and space for other cameras, or use an Ajax Cloud Storage subscription for recordings.

These recorders are alternatives, not equipment needed together. Compare screen connections, storage and camera capacity below. Hard drives are supplied separately.

IndoorCam still uses Wi-Fi and its own power adapter. It does not connect to a PoE camera port.

What you need. Fitting and setup.

Before installation

  • A nearby mains socket for the supplied 12 V DC adapter, plus a reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection at the camera location.
  • An Ajax account and app. For a video archive, add compatible Ajax NVR storage or an Ajax Cloud Storage subscription.

Fitting and setup

Position the camera indoors on a stable surface or mount it securely using the supplied bracket and suitable fixings. Check the view and Wi-Fi signal before final fixing, route the power lead safely, then add the camera and test audio, detection and recording settings.

IndoorCam is not a PoE or battery-powered camera. A compatible alarm hub is optional for linked security features.

FAQs

No. IndoorCam is designed for indoor use. Outdoor approaches need a camera with an appropriate enclosure and installation method.

No. IndoorCam can stream video over Wi-Fi without an alarm hub. A compatible hub adds Jeweller backup for events and alarms if Wi-Fi is lost. Wings photo delivery also requires an active Ajax Cloud Storage subscription. Live video still needs a working network connection; radio fallback does not stream continuous video.

Use an Ajax NVR with a compatible hard drive, or a supported Ajax Cloud Storage subscription. Neither a recorder nor a subscription is included with the camera.

Ajax lists ONVIF Profile S conformance and RTSP support for this product. Third-party viewing does not necessarily include Ajax calls, AI filters, alarm scenarios or cloud features. Check the exact software and recording arrangement.

IndoorCam uses the supplied power adapter. It is not a battery-operated camera.
