Fitting Guide
Tools: a tape measure, the correct hand screwdriver, a door wedge and a soft cloth.
Before you start
Check both sides of the door: each pull has a 93 × 50 mm overall face, 38 mm horizontal fixing centres and 20 mm maximum projection. Compare the cylinder profile and existing holes, and check room to grip the pull without catching nearby handles, the frame or other furniture.
Fit and check
- Hold the door open and keep the key with you. Photograph and support the old fittings as you release the fixings.
- Offer up both new pulls before fastening. Check the cylinder sits correctly through the openings and the key has room to enter and turn on each side.
- Fit the supplied mounting components in their specified sequence. Start the screws by hand, align both sides and tighten evenly without pinching the cylinder or distorting the door.
- Check each pull is secure and comfortable to grip. Test the key and lock with the door open before checking normal operation with it closed.
