This 5 detainer mortice lock is suitable for sliding doors requiring automatic closing action. Handles can be fitted to one or both sides and the key can be used on either side to secure both bolt and handle(s). A projecting stump on the forend engages into the locking plate to prevent the door being lifted from the frame in the closed position. Bolt-through fixing is also provided. Supplied with gold texured faceplate. KEYED ALIKE LOCKS ARE £5 EXTRA. IMPORTANT NOTE. Keyed alike locks are only supplied with one set of keys. This is because the first lock mechanism remains unchanged and any additional locks are modified to match this. The keys supplied with these additional locks cannot be used and are scrapped.
